Salim Kerkar (born 4 August 1987) is a French-Algerian footballer, who currently plays for Beroe Stara Zagora in the Bulgarian A Football Group. Kerkar has previously played for Gueugnon, Calais, Rangers and Charlton Athletic. ==Club career== On 8 September 2006, Kerkar made his professional debut, starting for FC Gueugnon in a Ligue 2 game against Tours FC.〔(Ligue 2 : FC Gueugnon / Tours FC - 7ème Journée - Feuille de match: )〕 On 5 May 2007, he signed his first professional contract with Gueugnon.〔(Verts d'Eur. : Premier contrat pro pour S. He scored his first goal for Rangers in the Scottish Cup against Arbroath on 8 January 2012. On July 18, 2012, Kerkar went on trial with English Championship side Charlton. He signed for Charlton on 1 August 2012. He was released by Charlton at the end of the 2012–13 season.
